Predestined, Prepared and Prearranged

For we are God's (own) handiwork (His workmanship),
created IN Christ Jesus, (born anew) that we MAY do
those good works which God PREDESTINED (planned
beforehand) for US, (taking paths which He PREPARED
ahead of time) that WE should walk in them - LIVING the
GOOD life which He PREARRANGED and made ready
for us to LIVE. -- Eph. 2:10
WOW! And WOW!
This is an incredible scripture filled with...
... a new life of hope,
... truth, and
... promise
... and with purpose
... as sons and daughters
... of the most high God.
Undoubtedly, unmistakably, undeniably and unequivocally our Creator, our Father and our Savior made ready our destiny to live out a "good life" in which He predestined, prepared and prearranged. I think of the meaning of these "pre" words, what it describes for me is a Father who purposely intended before the foundations of this world, to give a proof of His great goodness and mercy for our future and well-being. His design and intended plan for us was to master in proficiency in His workmanship, a manner of life laid out well in advance, of liberty, certainty and victory on this side of eternity. This glorious change of life through faith, conversion along with eternal salvation, is not just a mere "happening." It is God himself orchestrating this great love, and inviting us to live and breathe in Him, to be alive and completed in Him. He has made "ready" for us to live in this redemptive and transformed change.
My Father, in whom I give all glory and honor, thank you for your purposed plan in desiring, as well as promoting us to be born anew, that we would do good works that you planned well in advance, so that we can take those paths to live a good life with You and in You. Thank you my Father for thinking so highly of us and for establishing a place for us, born by Your choice with a future of hope and destiny.
